Last updated: September 2026
This Learning Materials Licence & Acceptable Use Policy applies to La Rosa English learning materials and educational resources provided by La Rosa English Ltd (“La Rosa English”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By purchasing, accessing or using La Rosa English learning materials, you agree to use them in accordance with this policy and the La Rosa English Terms & Conditions.
1. Your Licence
When you purchase a La Rosa English learning resource, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to access and use that resource for your own individual learning. You are purchasing the right to use the resource. Ownership of the learning material and its intellectual property remains with La Rosa English. Unless otherwise stated, an individual purchase provides access for one learner only.
2. Materials Covered
This policy applies to La Rosa English educational content including, where applicable: Sound Mastery™ Time Mastery™ Word Foundations™ The Mastery Collection written learning resources; audio demonstrations and recordings; practice activities; assessment-related learning materials; personalised practice programs; and other digital educational resources provided by La Rosa English.
3. What You May Do
As an individual learner, you may: access the materials through your authorised La Rosa English learner account; use the materials for your own personal English learning; complete the activities and practice provided; listen to accompanying audio for your own learning; and make reasonable personal notes while working through the resources. Your licence is for personal educational use only unless La Rosa English has expressly granted you a different licence in writing.
4. What You May Not Do
Without prior written permission from La Rosa English, you must not: share your learner login or account access with another person; copy or reproduce substantial parts of the learning materials; distribute or send the materials to another person; upload the materials to public or private file-sharing platforms; publish the materials online or through social media; sell, resell, sublicense or commercially distribute the materials; remove or alter La Rosa English branding, copyright notices or other ownership information; represent La Rosa English materials as your own; modify the materials and distribute the modified version; use the materials to create substantially derivative educational products; use an individual learner licence to teach, train or provide services to other people; or make the materials available to an organisation, classroom, workplace, training provider or other group.
5. AI Platforms and Digital Tools
La Rosa English learning materials must not be uploaded, submitted or otherwise provided in substantial part to generative artificial intelligence platforms, large language models, automated content-generation systems or similar services for the purpose of reproducing, adapting, extracting, repackaging or creating derivative educational materials. This includes uploading complete resources, substantial sections of resources, audio materials, proprietary assessment content or protected learning systems for analysis or reproduction. Learners may use general digital or AI tools independently to support their own English learning, provided they do not upload, reproduce or disclose protected La Rosa English content in breach of this licence.
6. Audio Content
Audio demonstrations and other recordings supplied by La Rosa English form part of the licensed learning material. Audio content may be listened to by the authorised learner for personal learning but must not be copied, extracted, redistributed, published, incorporated into another product or used for commercial or teaching purposes without written permission.
7. Teaching and Professional Use
An individual learner purchase does not provide permission to teach from, distribute or commercially use La Rosa English materials with students, clients, employees or other learners. Educators, schools, businesses, training providers and other organisations wishing to use La Rosa English materials professionally must obtain an appropriate licence from La Rosa English. Professional and organisational licensing may be subject to separate terms, fees and usage conditions.
8. Learner Accounts
Where materials are accessed through a La Rosa English learner account, access is provided to the registered purchaser or authorised learner only. Login credentials must not be shared. Where La Rosa English reasonably believes that an account or learning resource is being shared, distributed or used outside the applicable licence, access may be restricted or suspended while the matter is investigated. Where a material breach is established, La Rosa English may terminate the relevant licence or access, subject to applicable law and the La Rosa English Terms & Conditions.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in La Rosa English learning materials remain the property of La Rosa English or the relevant rights holder. Purchase, possession or access does not transfer copyright, trademark rights or other intellectual property rights to the learner. No rights are granted other than the limited licence expressly described in this policy.
10. Personalised Materials
Assessment reports, personalised practice programs and other learner-specific materials provided by La Rosa English are intended for the individual learner for whom they were created. The learner may retain and use their personalised material for their own learning. The underlying La Rosa English templates, structure, educational content, methodology and intellectual property incorporated into those materials remain protected and are not licensed for redistribution, teaching or commercial use.
11. Breach of This Licence
Unauthorised copying, sharing, redistribution, commercial use or other material breach of this licence may result in suspension or termination of access to La Rosa English materials. La Rosa English also reserves any rights or remedies available under applicable intellectual property, contract or other laws. Nothing in this section limits any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Permission and Licensing Enquiries
If you would like to use La Rosa English materials for teaching, professional, organisational or other purposes outside an individual learner licence, please contact La Rosa English regarding appropriate licensing.
