These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the La Rosa English website and the purchase and use of products and services provided by La Rosa English Ltd (“La Rosa English”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By purchasing a product or service from La Rosa English, creating a learner account, or otherwise using our paid services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional terms presented to you at the time of purchase.
1. Our Products and Services
La Rosa English provides English-language education products and services, which may include digital learning materials, communication assessments, private coaching, practice programs, workshops, webinars and other educational resources.
The content, format, availability and inclusions of each product or service are described on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.
2. Educational Outcomes
La Rosa English products and services are designed to support English-language learning and communication development.
Individual progress and outcomes will vary between learners and may depend on factors including participation, existing English ability, frequency and consistency of practice, individual learning needs and application of the material.
Purchase or participation does not guarantee a particular English level, examination result, employment outcome, academic outcome or other specific result.
3. Digital Learning Materials
Digital learning materials, including Sound Mastery™, Time Mastery™, Word Foundations™ and The Mastery Collection, are provided for the individual purchaser's personal learning and educational use.
Access is provided through the applicable La Rosa English digital platform or learner account.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchasing access does not transfer ownership of the underlying learning material or intellectual property to the purchaser.
Access must not be shared with another person.
4. Intellectual Property and Licence to Use
All La Rosa English learning materials, written content, audio recordings, assessment materials, practice programs, educational frameworks, graphics, branding and other original content are owned by or licensed to La Rosa English and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a La Rosa English product provides the purchaser with a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the material for their own learning.
Unless La Rosa English has provided prior written permission, materials must not be:
copied, reproduced or redistributed;
shared with another person;
uploaded to another website, platform, group or file-sharing service;
resold or commercially distributed;
modified and represented as another person's work;
used to create substantially derivative educational products or resources;
used for teaching, training or commercial purposes; or
accessed by another person through the purchaser's learner account.
Separate licensing arrangements may be available for educators, organisations and other professional users.
5. Learner Accounts
Where a product requires a La Rosa English learner account, the purchaser is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their login information.
Accounts and purchased access are intended for the registered learner only and must not be shared.
La Rosa English may restrict or suspend access where there is reasonable evidence of unauthorised sharing, redistribution, misuse of materials or other material breach of these Terms.
6. English Communication Assessment
The English Communication Assessment is based on the information, responses and recordings submitted by the learner.
Learners are responsible for following the assessment instructions and providing their own responses.
Assessment findings represent La Rosa English's professional educational assessment of the material submitted and are intended to provide guidance regarding the learner's English communication development.
The complimentary 4-Week Practice Program provided with the assessment is self-guided. Unless otherwise expressly included in the purchased service, it does not include ongoing coaching, review of completed practice, feedback on submissions or continuing individual support.
7. Private Coaching
The inclusions, duration and delivery format of Private Coaching are specified on the relevant product page and during the purchase process.
A 60-Minute Private Coaching Session is a single coaching session. Unless otherwise agreed, sessions are delivered online. Face-to-face sessions may be offered where location and availability permit.
A single 60-minute session does not include the ongoing support or coaching structure of the 4-Week Private Coaching Program.
Where a coaching product includes messaging, audio submissions, feedback or other support, the applicable limits and response arrangements will be specified as part of that product.
8. Bookings, Cancellations and Rescheduling
Where a service requires a scheduled appointment, learners are responsible for attending at the agreed date and time.
Cancellation and rescheduling requirements applicable to coaching sessions, workshops, webinars or other scheduled services will be communicated at the time of booking and are also subject to the La Rosa English Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Failure to attend a scheduled session without the required notice may result in the session being treated as used, subject to any rights available under applicable law.
9. Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed on the website in the currency identified at checkout.
Payment must be completed using the payment methods made available through the La Rosa English website.
The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the information supplied during checkout is accurate.
Where third-party payment providers are used, payment information may be processed directly by those providers in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy practices.
10. Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the type of product or service purchased, whether digital access has been provided, whether personalised work has commenced, and any applicable consumer rights.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
11. Learner Responsibilities
Learners are expected to use La Rosa English products and services respectfully and for their intended educational purpose.
Learners must not knowingly provide false information, submit another person's work as their own, misuse communication channels, harass or abuse La Rosa English personnel, or use La Rosa English services for unlawful purposes.
La Rosa English reserves the right to discontinue a service or restrict access in circumstances involving serious or repeated misuse, subject to applicable consumer law.
12. WhatsApp and Electronic Communication
Certain La Rosa English services may use WhatsApp, email or other electronic communication methods for delivery, communication, audio submissions and learner support.
By providing the relevant contact information for a service, the learner acknowledges that those communication methods may be used for the delivery and administration of that service.
Marketing communications are handled separately and will only be sent where permitted and in accordance with the La Rosa English Privacy Policy and the learner's communication preferences.
13. Privacy
Personal information provided to La Rosa English is handled in accordance with the La Rosa English Privacy Policy.
This may include information supplied during checkout, learner intake information, communications, assessment responses and audio recordings where required to provide the purchased service.
14. Availability and Changes
La Rosa English may update, improve or reasonably modify its website, digital platforms and educational materials from time to time.
Where a learner has already purchased a product or service, La Rosa English will not materially remove the core purchased benefit without providing an appropriate alternative or remedy where required by applicable law.
Temporary interruptions may occasionally occur because of maintenance, technical issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
15. Third-Party Platforms
La Rosa English may use third-party services or platforms to operate aspects of its website, payments, communication and digital content delivery.
While reasonable care is taken in selecting and using these services, La Rosa English does not control the independent operation of third-party platforms.
Nothing in this section limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, La Rosa English is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from the use or inability to use its educational products or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including any consumer guarantees or other statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to La Rosa English products, services, operations or legal requirements.
The version applicable to a purchase will generally be the version in effect at the time that purchase is made, except where a change is required by law or is otherwise lawfully applicable.
